As if my day couldn't have gotten worse. I broke the antenna on my 944 ;-;
I was in a hurry to get to work and had no time to wash my car. I'm putting her away this weekend and I wanted to have her as clean as possible beforehand, so I had to go through JAX on the way to work.
If you're going to or are planning on saying, "should have washed it by hand" or something of the sort, just fuck off because Im not in the mood for that shit.
Everything was fine until I heard a *snap* sound. And I instantly knew and looked at my antenna which was bent halfway at the top. It automatically goes up when I insert the key, and only goes back down when I remove it and the car is off.
I tried straightening it out; and snapped it in two. Had to pull the rest out because it was horrendous and dangling. It is now sitting in the hatch:
Thanks to my retarded hindsight, I broke something original on my baby. And have no idea if I can get another. It hurts knowing that I just did this to something so special to me. :(

It's a fucking antenna, why do you have to replace it? No one listens to the radio.

But is it legitimate and reliable?

I dunno, but it comes with a 10 year warranty.

So buy the part and figure out how to install it instead of whining about it on the internet

Reduced parasitic drag!

Well, there's worse things to break. You could be scraping on your garage with the stock height like I did. Glad I got that fixed, might've caused some problems down the road...

I'm scraping on speed bumps and low declines. But a Mustang scraping at stock height???
How is that even possible..

Well, before I took the car in for a huge service (seals, gaskets, valve covers, suspension parts among other things) I would scrape occasionally , nothing to worrying. Then I took it in to get all of that stuff done (Under warranty!) and part of that included taking the H Pipe down off to get to the transmission. (They charged us only 100 dollars to change the clutch since it was out). I'm assuming something was a little loose and the exhaust hung lower then normal. Two weeks ago when getting the clutch cable adjusted, we asked if they could check the exhaust. Turns out they could lift it up a little bit more.
Now there's barley enough room between the floor and the exhaust. Good and bad, I can't lower it but I'm not spending money on springs!
